Does This Look Like The Face Of A Man That Started Smoking A Joint In Court As He Was Being Charged For Drug Possession?

(Source)- A 20-year-old man was arrested Monday after police said he smoked marijuana in a Wilson County courtroom in front of a judge. Spencer Alan Boston was called to the podium in front of Judge Haywood Barry on a simple drug possession charge, according to Wilson County Sheriff Robert Bryan.

Boston was apparently expressing a viewpoint that marijuana should be legalized at the podium. He then is accused of reaching into a pocket and pulling out a marijuana cigarette, lighting up and smoking, police said. Then, Boston turned around to make a comment to those sitting in the courtroom and officers immediately took him into custody, Bryan said.

To answer the headline to this blog, no that is not the face of a guy that would light up a joint in the middle of a courtroom. That is the face, the hair, and the shirt of a guy that would light up a joint in the middle of a courtroom before trying to make a statement on why weed should be legal followed by the court officers taking him away before he could start naming his favorite live Phish shows.

Spencer Lee Boston is clearly the hero Tennessee deserves but not the one it needs right now.

To be honest, the only surprising part of this story is that weed isn't already legal in Tennessee. I know the hippy dippy states like Colorado, California, and Vermont legalized that shit a while ago while other states have since followed. But I figured by now Southern states that weren't DEEP Southern states that still consider marijuana to be the Devil's Lettuce that can steal your soul legalized weed a while ago. Apparently not. So best of luck to Spencer Alan Boston on being the face of Tennessee weed legalization (despite having the name of a goddamn assassin).
